My suggestion is that you darken your room, slip on your comfy headphones, make this tripped-out animation by Jenna Caravello full screen and get sucked into its mystic tentacles spun by musician Jake Acosta for the duration of its glorious 15+ minutes.

The Chicago based leader of Teen River says, “Jenna’s sense of absurd and very stylized video work drew me to write the audio to Current Underwater Weather.  I’ve always been interested in visual work with music in other people’s work but never knew how to incorporate it. Luckily, her animation style really complimented my off-the-cuff, absurdly cerebral style of cartoonish blips and blops. By now, we’ve screened this piece in several galleries around Chicago, and are working on our next project.”
